The NZY Mag Blood & Tissue DNA Isolation Kit, RUO, uses paramagnetic bead-based technology for the rapid and high-quality purification of high-molecular-weight genomic DNA from a wide range of biological samples. This kit is optimized for the extraction of genomic DNA from human, bacterial, and fungal sources across diverse biological matrices, including fresh or frozen whole blood (EDTA- or citrate-treated), plasma, serum, urine, bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL), amniotic fluid, cultured cells, swabs, and tissue samples. The workflow is meticulously designed not only for the efficient extraction of genomic DNA, but also for the comprehensive recovery of host and pathogen nucleic acids (RNA and DNA), supporting modern multi-target and syndromic assay designs. The method is based on the reversible binding of nucleic acids to paramagnetic beads under carefully optimized buffer conditions, ensuring maximum yield and purity while efficiently removing PCR inhibitors. Purified pathogen and genomic DNA typically exhibit an A260/A280 ratio between 1.7 and 1.9, making it ready for use in demanding downstream applications, including qPCR, RT-qPCR, isothermal amplification methods (such as LAMP, HDA, RPA, and NASBA), digital PCR, genotyping, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and other molecular biology assays. For scalability and automation, the kit is fully compatible with automated workflows on platforms such as the KingFisher™ Flex Magnetic Particle Processor (Thermo Fisher Scientific™) and the TANBead Nucleic Acid Extractor Maelstrom Switch 8 (Taiwan Advanced Nanotech Inc.). These automated protocols enable the simultaneous processing of up to 96 samples with minimal hands-on time, delivering fast and reproducible nucleic acid preparation for high-throughput laboratories.
