CleanPlex Pharmacogenomics Kit Specifications

While most amplicon sequencing technologies are compatible with only a single type of sequencer, CleanPlex® chemistry has been specifically designed to be adaptable with both Illumina and Ion Torrent platforms using the same primer pool, without the need to inventory multiple versions of the same panel.

DNA is extracted from genomic DNA from Blood or Saliva.

1 Multiplex PCR. Targets are amplified in a multiplex PCR reaction, followed by magnetic bead purification.

2 Background Cleaning. Primer-dimer, non-specific PCR products, and other contaminants are biochemically removed, followed by purification.

3 Indexing PCR. Sequencer-specific adapter sequences and indices are added by PCR, followed by purification.

Final libraries are pooled for sequencing.
